If it hadn’t been for that moment in the parking lot, who knows what my life would be like today, would I even be here. I am not perfect; my dog is not perfect. Being introduced to Operation Freedom Paws changed my life and I will continue to be a cheerleader to others making their journey though the program, and hopefully one day when the timing is right come back to help teach others and give back to the organization that has given me so much. I encourage those who can give even a small amount or the gift of time to help volunteer at events to help another service dog team become one.
